Where does your spam come from?
As of late I have been coming under multiple attacks by comment spammers from both Russia and China.
Almost every single blog post I make, I get anywhere from 200-500 spam comments from these two countries.

I do not get spam on my blog. Its impossible, it can not and does not happen.
I have a blog and a forum. When I set up my wordpress blog, I edited the templates, removed the commenting sections in the articles. I also disable comments and ping backs on every article. And people can not sign up for a membership on my blog.
When I post an article on my blog, I will also post an article on my forum. Here lately I have been posting the articles in the forum first, then 2 or 3 days later I will post the article on my blog. At the end of the blog article is a link, (with keywords) to the article in the forum, with instructions that if you have a comment, please post them in the forum.
The 2 day head start in the forum allows my members to post replies before people see the blog post.
My forum is built with VBulletin. I let the security of VBulletin deal with with the spammers. When someone signs up on my forum, they have to go through a human verification system - which includes ReCaptcha and another couple of questions the person has to fill out.
Instead of having 2 sites, and having to deal with spam on 2 sites, and members on 2 sites - the forum handles everything from memberships to comments.
As a result of this design, my blog sends about 8,000 unique ip addresses to my forum every 30 days. The blog is also my forums 4th highest source of traffic.
So to answer your question, no, I never get spam on my blog. And because I do not get spam, I can not tell you where it comes from.

I respectfully disagree.
If I allowed comments on my blog, and I have 3 blogs, I would not have time for other stuff. The operation is supposed to be streamlined so that my time is best served, and my members are best served. And dealing with spammers does not fit into my schedule.
Let me put it this way, my time is too important to me to have to deal with spammers. I have better things to do then scan through hundreds of spam comments.

Ever heard of Twitter? And Microblogging? And the multitudes of corporate blogs that have comments disabled? Expand your horizons.

Do you guys even take time to see where from your spam comes? Just mark them spam as soon as you see irrelevant links...I f you get numerous spams a day, use a spam protection tool like akismet, spam karma ...
I know you all know this, but anyway I dont even bother to look at their origin..

I don't spend time knowing where the spam of my blogs came from. As soon as the comments are not relevant to my blog's niche or do not contribute something interesting or useful for my blog, I just usually delete them and don't care where they came from.

Since what I do when I receive spam comments or spam mail is to delete them immediately, I don't get to know where those spammers live... they do come in different ways and lately, classified ad sites is one of the source of these spammers, I do hope that they would do something about it soon.

I receive TONS of spam on my social bookmarking site form India. They are all people selling submissions to 3274236 social bookmarking sites for $2... Their submissions tend to stick out like sore thumbs, and for the most part I just delete them.
My blog, on the other hand, doesn't really get much spam. It's only about a month old, so that's expected, but I know the spam will come one day...

I really don't get much spam comments on my blog. I guess I am just lucky. But when there's a possible spam comments, I usually erase them so I don't get the chance to know what country it came from.

Not quite sure but generalizing western people are spammers might blow some fuse here, honey. Some are outsourced, which explains why I also get spam from neighboring Asian countries.

I get a lot of them. I click on the Delete Spam button for spams caught by Akismet, without checking; it doesn't worth the time checking them one by one.

Those spammers loves to put in a lot of links in my blog comments. Very irritating. They should know that most of blog nowadays are using "nofollow" attribute.
