I often don't know what to blog about, I'll check out google news to see what the latest toys are, or I use a site called hittail that will make suggestions on topics to blog about. Or I'll use google trends to see what the latest trends are, here is also a decent list of 38 Hints For A Million Link Baits

I personally like the wordtracker tool for showing you the most searched for trends - or google zietgeist for the same thing. always amazing what is being searched for and what people are interested in.

Increase the presence of your website on the World Wide Web, by getting backlinks. This will be also helpful in SEO of the website and increasing the page rank. Your link on other’s site will also fetch their traffic. Link-exchange will also be a good idea for widening the exposure of the website.
