My Outoing Blog Links

I created a script to change the outgoing links to Orange because they were hard for the user / reader to see. Prior to this they were the same color as the other text.

Should my outgoing blog links be clear to the reader?

Do you see any RED SEO flags with my blog?

One of the reasons why hyperlinks are off different color than your text is so that your visitors/readers may know that there's more information they can read. It's also a good way of sending traffic, and even PR juice, from the index page to your inner pages

One thing I'm sure about is black hat optimizers loves to match the color of their hyperlinks with normal text to avoid loosing traffic. Because when people see that there's more to what they reading, they'll eventually click the outgoing link. Another thing is, back hat SEOs also do this so they can pass PR juice from their index page to some of their inner pages. They do so by placing a hyperlink on a keyword from the index page, which isn't related to the article/content visitors are reading, and then change the color.

The blog looks fine and the bright links actually fit the color scheme. The only thing I would change is how many posts are shown it makes the loading time larger than it should be and it looks as if your blog has been around for three years yet only has a PR of 0 is this intentional if not check my marketing blog to get the resources to up your backlinks and increase your PR. The blog is in my sig good looking blog though.

It doesn't necessarily needed to be visible at all to readers. It can be like a normal link at all and it wouldn't be of any effect to your site. My advise is to make sure that outgoing links will open on another window or tab of the visitors browser so that your site is still visible for the visitor.
