Why do you blog?

Why do people blogging? Have you ever thought about that? I do, here are 8 reasons from my point of view, check it out, maybe some are your reasons.

1. Easy to use. First of all, blog is much easier website, if you start blogging, you will know that blogging is so easy, without many knowledge of website, you could build your own blog website. Don’t know where to get started?

2. Glory. Whatever it is necessary or not, people really want to be famous, in my opinion, blog is a great way make Internet stars, people love following stars and wish to be stars. Seth Godin, Steve Pavlina, Darren Rowse? Will you know them if no blogs?

3. Self-expression. Many people are blogging because it is a great way to express themselves, There are so many free BSP out there, why not blog for self-expression? Do you have a better way to express yourself on the Internet, I don’t think so, blog is the best way!

4. To help. Yes? Why not? I found that many bloggers are blogging about useful information which is very helpful to people, it is a great happiness to help others, why not help others with your blog?

5. Job. Believe or not, for many people, blogging is a real job in their lives. companies are hiring people to write about want them want, like their products. There are more than 400,000 paid bloggers in the USA, and the salary is not so bad, equal $2,5-3 thousands per month.

6. Selling products. On the Internet, we could easily start selling products worldwide, the selling could be happen in minutes after beginning, especially if you are selling digital products like eBook, audio, video or software.

7. Selling affiliate products. As I know, there are thousands and thousands of affiliate programs on the Internet, you could sell their affiliate products with your blog, and of course you will get paid from affiliate programs, it is a great way to make money from blog. Usually affiliate marketing doesn’t need a blog, but with a blog will boost your affiliate marketing very well.

8. Make Money Online. Last but not least, now it has became more and more popular to make money from blog. That is one of reasons why I blog, I want to make a craft money tree online with my blog, I wish someday I could be a successful blogger, like John Chow, Yaro Starak and so on, they are all very successful bloggers, they could make more than $10,000 from their blogs, amazing salary, right?

Everyone has his different views of reasons of blogging, but I think that, the most important things is enjoying blogging, have fun blogging, without interest of blog, you could not a good blogger. So find out the reason why you blog, raise it and let’s enjoy blogging!

Nice definition of blogging. Blogging has all these powers. If you concentrate on producing fresh and useful content for the readers, all the benefits of blogging will be yours.

This is my main reason.

I blog to earn money through adsense. And I really find it very useful. Also, it takes time to be successful in blog. You really need time and effort handling it.

Not always corporate blogs are created to increase on purpose attendance of the basic site, as in blogs usually unique contents, so hotly favourite by search systems.

Besides the blog can and go to the harm, casually dropped word, casual roughness on the answer in comments etc.
Corporate blog it in general while doubtful means for achievement of a large quantity of the various purposes.

And still it seems to me, that earnings should be pleasant addition to work. However, not at all it turns out. Simply when you put the purpose to earn, all is lost the rest and when you work "for idea" and also for it money you receive, the idea and consequently it is pleasant both to write remains also, and to read, and to communicate, and passion is not lost, after all in our world money all the same means much, and to work "for idea", the modern person can a maximum year-two... IMHO

I run a blog along side each of my websites. The main reason is the added publicity and SEO benefits, but I also enjoy it. I have just published the first post for the renewed ELCaD Blog and will be publishing quite a few more over the next 48 hours.
For me it isn't really about money from the blog, if anything comes then great, if not then never mind.

You definately shared some of the true reasons for blogging. But this is also true that these reasons changed the way Internet works now a days. Now people are use to find more information on blogs rather than normal websites.

I agree with your reasons. I began blogging for self-expression and the comments that I get is my glory. It's also a way that I can share my knowledge and ideas to others, and discover theirs. It was only lately that I learned that blogging can be money generating. Why not consider blogging as a career? It's good to earn while doing what you love.

My main reason why I blog is, "Blogging is my interest and hobby."

Earning in blogging was just an additional points why I blog.

Same here! I also agree on the reasons posted above by clarkywang, just except for the #'s 5,6 and 7 reasons
