A kind of ... rotating front page widget? Blogspot or Wordpress

Hey all.

I'm a bit new to this, but I was wondering if such a widget exists for either Blogspot or Wordpress that shows the most recent -- say, five -- postings, in a kind of rotating image gallery?

A bit like this:

There is an image, a headline and a blurb that rotates through recent articles.

I've tried to search, but I'm not sure exactly what terms to use to find such a widget.

Any help would be much appreciated!
