My meta tags and meta description for my wordpress site.
I am very new to all of this SEO and web design stuff, especially Wordpress, so I need help with something. I have no idea how to get my keywords or my search engine description attached to the site. As of right now, I don't think any keywords are conveyed, and when I search my site in Google, my site's description is generated from content on my site and doesn't make sense. My site is www.TheLoveQuilt.com. Can anyone help me get my keywords and description attached to my site please? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the "All In One SEO" plugin installed? This is where i added my information in on my blog.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...-one-seo-pack/
When you edit the settings in this plugin you will see the option to insert your stuff.

Oh, wow, no I do not have it. So I just add all the information to this, and it automatically gets added?

The information won't get added automatically but you will see the box's to manually type in your blog title, description and keywords along with a few other settings you could enable or disable. I pretty much did not touch the other settings in the plugin. Visit the plugins official homepage for support on this plugin and other information.

I have the same question. I am just regular new user to Wordpress, however I see I can't enter meta description and meta keywords into pages. My website is http://varjenje.biz. I have read some posts on Google that you need to change headers,... however I don't find it out how to do it in Wordpress. I am not programmer.
Is this possible in Wordpress.com or just Wordpress.org ?
Is there any other CMS, which supports easy editing as WP and supports all this SEO functions?
Thnks

Did you read my first reply in this thread yet? I recommended a SEO plugin that will do this. Also this plugin i think is a must have for any self hosted wordpress blog. You can read all about the All In One SEO plugin at the link i had posted earlier.
With using that plugin i suggested for each page you created on your blog, you can add custom titles, custom meta keywords. I did this for 3 pages i created that are ranking high in google right now.
I have never used the wordpress.com free blog so i do not know if they have spots to enter meta keywords..etc. I'm referring to the self hosted wordpress one.

This is the plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...-one-seo-pack/
I found a blog that has a video with step by step instructions on how to setup this plugin. Your questions about this plugin should be answered in the video.

You can do this without a plugin. Change the PermaLink structure.
But.... if your blog is existing then you also need to do 301 permanent redirects so you don't loose the post indexed.
