For me it's the content itself. It should be free flowing and have lots of useful information in it.

It's really important that you only do a blog post on your related niche. Hmm when you target search engine traffic wherein you want your keyword to be on top of the SERP rank, there's no issue if you use no follow or do follow because what important is that you establish link diversity

For this reason, it is important to read the "Comment Policy" of any blog you comment on IF there is one. Some blogs specify that you use your name only. Some don't care. I have seen others who will accept "your name @ your keywords" as you name.

HERE IS A VERY IMPORTANT POINT! It is best to use your NAME ONLY if you are new to a blog.

Why? Because you do not yet have the trust of the blogger and you may not be familiar with his or her comment policy initially.

Here is the key...find a few blogs that you enjoy reading and learning from...begin by reading the article and making comments that are more than just one-liners. Use your real name and put keywords (not your keywords, keywords from the author's article and NO LINKS!) from the article IN your comment. By dong this you will greatly increase the chances of getting your comment approved. Additionally, by regularly visiting that blog, you will see other comments that get approved and the techniques they use as well as whether or not they use keywords as their name. Follow what they do because obviously they were successful in getting their comments approved.

Again, the key is gaining the trust of the blogger.

In many cases, blogs that accept names only may, in time, allow you to use a keyword, IF you become a trusted commenter. However, this takes time because a relationship must be developed between the blogger and commenter.

Do not, I repeat do not, move from blog to blog spamming them. Stick with a small handful of blogs and learn how to comment on them before you move on.

By commenting with care, you learn how to get your comments approved, then you can start focusing on which blogs do not apply the nofollow attribute.

If you add value to the page or article in the form of a QUALITY COMMENT, bloggers will begin returning the favor. I speak personally.

How about commenting like this, Bob the Hot dog guy ? It has your name and your keyword as well in a sensible manner.

By not making the whole comment center around a link back to your site or product.

There's a two ways to get approve in the blog commenting. One is writing a comment about the article or continue the thoughts of the article. And the second one, keep the flow of the conversations in the comments with regards on the blog post. Always keep quality posting. Remember, always make sense into your post. Then at the last part make an appreciation into the owner of the blog.

The best option is to always use content which is interesting or which is controversial ( not being absurd, or porn), in a way which invites readers to write something. The blog content should be such that readers can't resist, penning down something...True, this is tough..but you can try it out at least.
