One cool thing (though it will be changed soon) my http://neo1seo.blogspot.com blog acts as a CMS to my front page of neo1seo.com (makes the updates a snap) or just nice to use when I want to rant

Let me ask you guys this: is the extra traffic that your blog provides you with any good? Or is it mostly off-beat keyterms that people find you thru which don't really benefit you?

I don't sell anything, all the traffic I get is cool because it's people who read the content, which I have the site for in the first place. I don't even use any polluting ads on my domains.
My sites are meant to give information, not to bring money, money chemes distract from the content and are pretty irritating for many surfers, specially seeing goooooooooooogle makes more and more people puke nowadays, it's becomming like email spam.

..but that's just me.

That's cool, we all blog for different reasons One thing I have to say though: I've signed up with MySpace about a year ago and finally started using it a week ago. You will get traffic from them, but that traffic is the kind I haven't really found any good use for yet

Yeah, I have a client on MySpace, all of a sudden. I'd heard of it and given it a glance before, but I had no interest in it. Today, I signed up on there and had a good, long look. I kinda like the way it's set up. It's a cool thing for most internet users.

After all, tech types are a minority now and that gap only grows larger. That MySpace/Yahoo crap really appeals to the public and I have no qualms with making money from it. I may even set up an articles site there and use the blog. I'm undecided. It looks like it would be a good way to steer retail sales traffic my way, but I won't even try selling webmaster utilities and ebooks on there.

I just tried to install one with my directory, and since I am running an .htaccess file that rewrites my directory urls to be SE friendly, I can't run a blog?

I have seven Blogs. three p3 and one p4 and three p2. But they dont take much traffic for me.
