Need Help Setting Up Blog
Hello,

I have a financial website and a blog/forum was not a priority when I first developed the site.

Now for various reasons, I would like to add a blog/forum to the site. I have no clue where to start.

I would like the blog hosted on my current site, not be a seperate URL.

I would appreciate some ideas on getting started.

Wordpress is a good choice for blog software, especially since you're planning to have it on your own hosting / domain. Most hosts do provide help with installing wordpress; if you're on a Linux / CPanel / Fantastico set up, chances are you have Wordpress available for auto install.

I'm new to this blogging, well actually the whole internet marketing scene, I want to set up a blog. Word press seems to be the right way to go. but would be interested in learning more about your blog hosting.

Blogs on free hosting good or bad?
DO blogs take up much space? I'm thinking of getting free hosting for my 1st blog. Is that a bad idea? If so why?

I just cancelled the hosting I was using. Don't really mind paying a small monthly subscription but not sure who to use yet. Just wanted to play around first a learn a bit, all very new to me. Maybe you could suggest a good host who's resonably priced

I don't think free would be bad for a first blog if you are just playing around... but you originally said you wanted it on the current hosting that you had now. I assumed you already had a fairly long standing website and were looking to implement a blog. Maybe I misunderstood you.
