Optional Excerpt and Custom Fields. (wp)

I figure I could find out more information at wordpress' site... but I thought I would ask the v7n community if you use these? ...and if so for what?

Very cool. Thanks that explains it perfect... hmmm... now I need to write some extra jazz into my site.

Anyone got a good use for the custom fields?

I really love the optional excerpt! I use Feed Broadcaster to mail out excerpts of each post to people who have subscribed to my blog by email - and so those people get that snippet too. It just gives you A LOT more control in how things look, your CTR per post, etc.

And with the OptiNiche package that I use, this Optional Excerpt I create is also used in my Description Meta Tag
