wordpress preview
Hi,
Is there an addon for wordpress that would let me post a preview of the first 2 or 3 posts on another page? then I want to be able to click the preview text links to get to the whole blog....
or if not an addon, can I do it in php and if so, help with the code not an expert at PHP here, but I'm pretty sure this can be done if someone points me in the right direction...
thanks!
d

I'm not an expert on plugins but I think there's a plugin which will allow you to display the latest 5 (or so) blog entries on another page. Another thing you could do is create an RSS file and with some PHP code it'll bring through the contents of this RSS file.
I'd try and get a plugin first though.
I'll have a look around and report back with any finds

I think Darren's idea may work or be closest to what you need.

I am not sure what he means but wouldn't it do what you need? Maybe he needs to explain some more.

There's a plug-in to list the 5 recent posts, like on John's blog "Latest Posts" on the top left, it didn't sound like that's what you wanted though.

yup, I think that's what I want. Do you happen to know the name of the plugin? I've been looking on different plug in sites and didn't find anything....

OK Ok I've been summonded to this thread
You have two options (from my experience)
1) Find a plugin
2) Create an RSS feed and create a PHP page which will display the content in the RSS feed.
I've not had chance to look for a plugin yet.
Oh, and no its not a stupid question

NOTE: This plugin is not compatible with Wordpress 2.0. I will upgrade it when I have time for it.
