Using RSS Feeds to Post to Your Blog

Does anyone know how you can automate it so that you can use RSS feeds to post to your blog? Basically, say you have a breaking news blog, and want to have an RSS feed make a post a day off the AP RSS feed while you add your own posts in between (manually).

Anywhere to point me as far as a pre coded solution that would work with Wordpress?

Thanks Darren and worth a bookmark although that seems to be a way to display RSS feeds (Which would change the content and link every time the feed is updated)

I am looking for a solution that would actually make a post in a blog every time the feed was changed (or checked by the script) and like when you manually post an entry, it would not change but instead keep growing. (ie. in 30 days you would have 30 "entries")

Drupal supports this exact features with the Aggregator2 module.

I only mentioned Wordpress because I am already familiar with it. If an existing option only exists with Drupal, I am all for learning something new.

Skimming a few Black Hat resources I came across www.rsstoblog.com

Anyone use this? There are reviews everywhere but its so filled with affiliate crap I can't make heads or tails. Don't mind spending the $200 although I want to make sure its worth it first.

A v7n member contaqcted me that they are working on something similar to RSS to Blog so I am going to put some time into coming up with feature lists etc and hopefully in the end their is a more effecient solution.

I also think that you should use the famous Digg and Shout BLOG IT function (I don't do that, since you get pride for writing your own stories, even if you find it from another source) but since you are mainly doing the same thing, I suggest it.

Really nice...it does the job although its a bit light on features.

I have had two problems so far:

Doesn't work with Permalinks (Posts it but then clicking on the post gives a page not found)

Prints Originally From yadda yadda twice in every post with a lot of space between.

*I fixed both by editing the post but that kinda defeats the purpose

I am going to see if their is a solution for these (I'm using 2.0) on Sleep Better (experimental)
