WP search plugin

Anyone aware of a plugin which changes the search facility on Wordpress.

When delivering the search results, I don't want the full blog entry, I just want a link to the entry and the first line or two of text.

Any ideas?

Looked around but couldn't find anything.

I use this one and absolutely love it!

P.S. Not sure if this one has been tried in WP 2.0 and above yet or not.

Ya scared me for a minute when your post mentioned a navigation problem on my blog (before you edited it) but I checked it in IE and in FF in multiple screen resolutions and couldn't replicate what you saw. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

mm yes, I refreshed it and it appeared okay - weird - seems to be working fine now (thats why I edited so I didnt look like an idiot

)

Well that plugin you sent me to works great - in that when you search it searches for posts and for pages, but how do you get it like your search where the title and a few lines appear in the results and not the complete blog or page entry?

It might be that my archives are set to display that way.

Well, I've just found this which basically searches comments and everything - also includes a menu in the options menu.

I'm still not sure why Im receiving full page rather than extract - if I find out I'll mention it on here.

Well the very very helpful Cori Schlegel sorted my problem - it was due to a peice of code in my search.php file!

Anyone looking to change their search so you can search on blog entries, pages, comments etc I'd recommend this plugin
