You use a PHP Code, right! I do that to link to the authors on my Moden SEO Blog. I'll do the avatar thing AFTER I get around 5 bloggers or so!

Now I have my Aston Martin avatar on my blog so I can see it all the time.

now you just need to develop it as a plugin and post it on your site.
Make it where from the admin panel each author can upload a picture in their personal settings.

you do that and your bound to get some extra traffic.

hmm.. Good idea, however, would I need to know a lot of php do you think, in order to do it? I can't program my way out of anything...

I just float the images in a left aligned table. They look nice on the blog, except for that fugly looking blonde feller.
