Is this even an ethical question?

I am heavily into learning affiliate software for selling boks, posters, animal products...

When I recommend a book to someone, I would normally just post an Amazon link.

Today I posted an affiliate Amazon link. Then I thought better and stated it was an affiliate link.

Now I'm blogging about a respectable author. I want to link to his books.

Can I use an affiliate link? Is this a valid thing to be concerned about or am I being silly?

Well I personally don't see anything wrong with it, other's however may have differing views.

Sounds like a good idea to me. If there gonna buy something or that anyway, than why cant you profit from it. Your are just showing them where they can buy it.

Using affiliate links is ok in my book as long as you state that it's an affiliate link.

I don't see a problem even not stating it providing your not trying to hide its an affiliate link. To the average Jack or Harry they won't even know what it means.
