wordpress link issue

OK got a question...

I have my wordpress blog set up as my homepage (howimetyourmother.us). All has gone well with it thus far, and whenever adding links they always materialize just fine. however... I picked up a site sponsor yesterday and when I added his link it only shows up under howimetyourmother.us/blog..... Why would it do that? Unfortunately all the PR is the ".us" not /blog so I need to get this link to show...

if you do look, his is the "2 Get Sitcom News" text link that you see on the '/blog' but not the '.us'.

OK now I've really FUBARed myself... <STUPID STUPID STUPID> I changed my wordpress address from howimetyourmother.us/blog to just howimetyourmother.us.... now the dashboard is screwed up and it won't let me fix it without:

but I followed the wordpress directions to do this and it still no worky. anyone done this before?

You need to go into the database and edit what you put the blog url as. I could do it for you if it's too complicated, I've been there and done that so many times cause of that BS message.

I think you don't need to go into your database, but if you do, it shouldn't be too hard to do. Use the control panel your webhost provides you with, then you should be fine!

Hi and thanks Colleen and Ken. I was gone on a little 3-day with my wife and no internet so sorry for the late reply

anyhow... I was actually able to get into the dashboard and change the blog url, so yeah I think I need to go into the database... Do you know which files needed to be fixed Colleen? I might be able to do it, I just wasn't sure where the fix needed to be made.
