I thought it was the other way around. You become a marketer and then SEO becomes one of your hats. Its a great post though, it gives a few really great tips about blogging.

The title leaves me going... Huh?

I thought the sections advocating experiment, blog identity... especially relevant.
I'm reading a lot of struggles with identity recently... Seems like something that could and should be worked out in the "about" page.
