I realize this is an older thread, but I thought I'd check in and see if anyone cared to give an update. I just signed up with PayPerPost myself and earned ~$50 in the first 24 hours. I'm still checking it out good, testing the waters... but this looks interesting to me.

RE the article on BusinessWeek - they titled that Polluting the Blogosphere. I dont know what they consider the pollution on their own website because you have an ad that flies in and covers the article, and then 7 large image ads (mainly flashing) surrounding the content on all sides above the fold. How annoying is that? More annoying than someone getting paid to include a text link in a post they were blogging anyway - but that's just my opinion.

I did some research into it to find out why the "A-Listers" were bashing it, and posted my findings (and opinion on it all) here: http://www.clicknewz.com/186/ppp-bashing/ .

Now that a few months have gone by... how are you guys doing with this opp?

I'm honestly not sure... They have a blog & forum at payperpost.com, you can probably find out the details from Ted Murphy there.

By the way, I'm up to almost $100 with PPP so far (3rd day). Anyone else testing this out?

Saw in other forums that it is allowed only for US residents ut they would make it world wide soon

Yep, I'm also nearing the $100 mark, but have yet to get paid. My first payment should be coming up later this week, which will be my real deciding moment.

I think the key to this program is always keeping your plate full...ie do as many posts per day as possible.

I'd love to see some competitors pop-up that operate similar to PayPerPost. Using only PPP, bloggers are limited to three opps a day. If you have 4 or 5 active blogs, you could easily do much more across the board.

If anyone knows of - or hears about - something similar, let me know. I'd love to test it out too.

Blogitive.com is similar, but not nearly as man opps as PPP has to offer.

Hi, I am from Canada but is still interested if you (or anyone) has receive any kind of payment... Its too bad that they dont offer this to canadian bloggers

I am new to this forum and definitely new with blogging. Can you really make money out of blogging?

I have seen sites like soulcast.com paying bloggers to make posts and earn

Received my first payment 15 mins ago via PayPal!

I've been keeping my plate full for the past few 30 days, therefore I should have money deposited into my PayPal account about every other day from them. Not a bad deal at all.

I just started blogging the other day - I have basic knowledge of HTML and programming - compared to others I'll be like an ant in a farm of chickens

I have gone to some get paid by blogging sites and most of them requires a lot of traffic, that it should be indexed by google (my site is still not there), and that the site should have been up and running for 3 months - i guess i have to wait...
