XML Feed for Blog
In Wordpress is it possible to create a dynamic XML feed?
I've had a travel company contact me wanting to publish my blog entry on it's website.

RSS is a format for syndicating news, articles blogs etc. It follows certain rules so scripts written to handle RSS feeds will work with every RSS feed. It is a standard.
RSS feeds are written in XML

Yep, Jamie is right on, basically it's html without any type of style added to it. Just view the feed in your browser to see HTML.

FeedBurner is the way to go. You can sign up for a free feed, and then download a WP plugin which combines your new feed and any other feeds you have.
Once you're setup, FeedBurner has tons of tools to help you track your stats and promote your feed

This is what I've been looking for
Xml/Rss and all the rest has the buggers confused out of me. This thread is helping. I think I got it adjusted right so that my blog comes out over in the sig. Wont know untill this post goes up though.
Looking at some of the bigger traffic sites out there, the pro bloggers have really got a handle on tags, feeds and diggs and such.
I think those will be the learning topics of the day!
Repost: I still got nothing over on the left!
Repost: I love one person conversations! Thankyou Tyler, following your suggestions made everything clear, and now looking over at my feed, I'm going to be a little more carefull about the content I put on my site.....like maybe I'll write it myself.

Though if you don't have a feel to start with and you're using Dreamweaver, DreamFeeder is a fun tool.

I understand, in principle, how RSS works, and have signed up my blog for FeedBurner. However, I'm a little perplexed as to how to display the latest entry from the blog on a non-blog site. Currently I'm using RSS-to-javascript, which works fine, except that there's a tag at the bottom of the post which I'd rather not have. Is there a better way to do it that I'm missing?

I use Feedburner's Buzzboost
And a hidden div to get rid of the tag.

Thank you... I did not know about Buzzboost. It does seem to work.
I haven't used hidden divs before... found this
.hidden
{position:absolute;
left:0px;
top:-500px;
width:1px;
height:1px;
overflow:hidden;}
Is that the kind of thing you are using? Also, do you know a way I can remove the <li> from the code? Or is that something I can specify by overriding the CSS for the "headline" span class?
