Thumbs up How often do you blog?

I'm curious as to how often some of your here at v7n blog.

I started a personal challenge this week to blog twice a day for 100 days.

Today is the 6th day and so far it's going smoothly.

it's interesting to see the traffic increase when you decide to stick with it.

How often are you blogging and have you noticed any changes in your traffic from doing one activity over the other?

The past 8 months I have not been blogging as much as I would like to. I have been tinkering around with the behind the scenes stuff for a long time and only writing about 3 to 4 blog posts every 7 days with a few guest blog posts from other people each week.

My problem is just finding the time to sit down and dedicate time to writing some content and even writing more then 1 blog post in a day to schedule them to go live later in the week. Between moderating on here, reading the blog posts from the subscriptons i'm subscribed to (a lot of blogs), my full time job and my summer job (makes 2 jobs), i'm slacking a little. (Although, I maybe unemployeed in 2 weeks at the full time job so I have some major decisions to make)

One thing is for sure, I do keep myself busy 7 days a week. You should see the to-do-list for things to do on my blog. Sticky notes all over my desk to remind me to do stuff. My taffic is not at where it was 9 months ago and it's because I'm blogging less and not building enough internal backlinks.

Any changes in traffic or subscribers because of your blogging schedule?

I usually post to my blog once a week. I feel that way I don't get burnt out and I can supply good content for my readers. The middle path is the best path to take. Not too much or too less.

usually, We can blog two times a day. it would be better if we maintain the number of posts per day.. regular and frequent updates will lead to traffic and PR as well sometimes.

It depends on what is happening!
I have a personal blog that doesn't get updated on a regular schedule, but I will post more when I have something specific going on like I went on vacation or there is a big change going on.
I do have a certain number of posts I write that aren't specific to an event, and I will schedule those posts to publish at times that I don't think I'll be as inspired to write.

Similarly, work-blogs will usually have some content going up every week or so, so that it doesn't look abandoned, but will get published more when something like a conference is going on or relevant legislation is changing.

Man, I dont post nearly enough! I'm lucky to be able to post one post every few weeks! I do write a fair bit when I do and have a couple in the pipeline that I am working on. I do believe anybody can just bang out a post, but quality should not suffer as a result.

I also get more traffic when I post, but its only natural, as you are fresh on twitter and facebook etc.

I only blog when I find something useful to share with others. This way I know that I am offering quality content to my readers.

Depends on the client. For personal use, I blog once a month. But some clients require more especially for high competition keywords.

I publish a once a week 1,500 word post. I focus on quality over volume. That's not to say volume is not important though! It's just I have other things I need to do throughout the week other than write and write and write.

Any of you want to give more details? I've quoted the important part from the thread creators opening post if you missed reading it.
