list of bloggers

Our website was in a favourable blog the other day and it received a couple of hundred extra hits due to this. I would like to ask: What is the best way to persuade bloggers to write about you? Is it a good idea to contact people and inform them about your site?

Is there a list of top blogging sites?

Is it worth paying bloggers to write about your site?

Is it a good way to increase site traffic?

well if you pay people to write about your blog, do expect some extra traffic ( that is if you pay the right people with the right blog )

And probably there is a list of top blogging sites, cause i've seen a small image last time I visited a blog saying they were number 28!

I'd say about the traffic thing, try it out!

I actually write reviews for Bloggeries, a blog rating site. If you'll post your blog's URL here, I'll make sure to do a review of it (each review comes with two to three backlinks).

It costs you $25 Klaas, and doesn't appear to be many reviews at the moment, but I do like the concept and blog theme design. Look forward to reading more reviews soon.

Hi,

I am the owner of Bloggeries, and noticed this thread.

Actually, we have been doing reviews for a few months. Since the start, we have done nearly 100 reviews, and have recently started doing them at an even more frequent rate.

Tyler is one of our writers, and I think he was offering to do a few reviews for free. If you are interested, you should take him up on it. He does a fantastic job, and like he said, It does give you a couple of permanent backlinks.

Well, I was actually new to blogging and wanted to learn about it. SO, I started looking through the net and reading as many blogs as I could find. In the process, I sen so many crappy blogs out there, and it seemed finding a "Good" one was rare. I started up the directory just as a means of sort of "Letting the blogs come to me." Before I knew it, I was giving opinions on blogs based on what I had seen and then finally just decided to start a place for voicing my opinions.

Bloggeries now has a very large blog directory, the blog reviews, and hopefully in a couple of weeks, I will be opening the doors on something new added to Bloggeries. (Once I have finished the design.)

Just blogs. Basically, I try to find the best and worst of blogs on the net, and then organize them for people to find. The Bloggeries Spotlight is a category that contains the best reviewed blogs thus far.

Are you still doing free reviews? If so, I have a blog, put up last month and I think I designed it well. The theme I use there is available for free. http://designer.ad4business.com (2 colors. black & red)

I'll give you the same advice I gave Klaas. Let your blogs develop over the next two months (make sure to add lots of original, quality content), and then get back to me and I'd be happy to do a review for you
