Inserting raw code into blogger

Anyone know how to put raw html codes into blogger, saw I want to show an html trick on my blog. Hwo do I go about making sure my blog doesn't take it as part of the blog html?

I use "text area", you can find the tutorial here:

I use this when I want someone to control c my affiliate links or something of the sort.

I actually think on Blogger if you just use the regular post editor it will keep it as code...could be wrong. If you want to read the html as code then you would use the Edit HTML tab.

Sorry it transfers it into the code equivalent as soon as it's done.
