How to disable automatic 301 redirects in WordPress

I changed the URL of a page. Now WordPress automatically redirects the new page (with the correct URL I want to use) to the old page. I can't figure out how to turn it off.

Do you have a plugin that could be doing this for you? e.g. Yoast SEO plugin? According to this page on his site this feature was moved to his SEO plugin.

Yoast can do redirects.

You may also want to clear your browser's cache as well as your WP cache (if you're using a caching plugin) to make sure there's really a problem.

a ) Yoast being able to do redirects was already pointed out.

b ) What does this have to do with the OP wanting to turn off automatic redirects?

Sorry..Why do you want to turn it off..? I thinks it's not a problem..If you want the post with old url you can simply redirect the new url to the old one..The easiest way is by htacces..or you can find plugin to do it..

Well what i think, that wordpress will not redirect to correct post if you change the URL. Its depend how much changing you made in the URL. As far I do that, I installed the REDIRECTION plugin and using it. But wordpress dose not redirect automatically.

Hope you will get better answer.
