From past experience, I stared 3 niche blogs aiming to get income on them but its better on focusing on one blog instead.

Theres no point spreading your brain juice.

I would start a new blog once the first one is dependable on itself.

Multiple niche often have problem in maintaining there readers because one person is interested in motor bikes and you update your blog about cars so obliviously he won't find it appalling so one niche blog rocks.

There's no problem with running multiple blogs in various niches but the main things to do is research all of your potential content BEFORE you make that new site live. It's really all about time management and I have no problems with running multiple blogs.

Now, make sure that they're niche sites aimed to sell something. If you plan on just creating multiple authority sites, then just stick with one site. But there's no problem having an authority site and them a bunch of niche sites.

Both strategies will work but you just need to decide which strategy works best for you. The amount of time you have to work on them will probably have an impact on your decision. I have made the mistake of having too many in the past and struggled to have enough time to work on then all so now just have 3 that I currently work on.

Mark.

I prefer to multiple blogs with different niches. If your one blog face problem due to technical or any other issue then rest blogs will help you to be in business. Putting all eggs in one basket is not good idea.

I would prefer one blog with all the niches which would made your SEO work more easy and fast. You have to write the same content in 1 blog which you will write in multiple blogs but you have to do SEO for one blog which will give you more time to write more content, quality content

I read on search engine blog about the multiple personal and multiple blog. According to given article Google will consider spam if a person will use multiple blog to get backlink for single website.

We've found that 1 blog with multiple topics in the niche is the best way to develop and drive traffic to a blog.

If you have multiple blogs, you are going to be scattered and it'll be difficult to focus on building a successful website.

Managing 1 business and making it effective for profit is the best way to go in our opinion.

Single blog would be good instead of multiple blogs. One can pay dedicated attention towards it and can get quick results at same time if Google rules are been followed.

Lets assume that I had five niches, including social marketing tips, puppy care tips, free music online, medical equipment and free games online. If I were to put all those subjects on the same blog, it would look pretty weird to anyone trying to read the blog. Not to mention how it might be perceived as a spam blog by Google.

It's just so much easier to create five unique, separate blogs where you can put the niche content rather than mashing it all up on one blog.

This is a better technique for SEO anyway as niche blogs rank very highly.

I'd say one blog. Give 100% of your time and effort. It's not easy to run multiple blogs. Focus on one and give your best.

As per the above discussion, My opinion is to make one blog website for different niche (categories). If you build a single website for single niche then you have to mange various website and its a difficult task. So, Making a one website is a simple solution. Its easy to mange.

A single blog is the best option, unless you have a team to try and create more then one blog and each member of the team focus only one blog.

In my view concentrating on one blog with more related keywords would be recommended

Even I feel the same , You need to have a one blog with Multi niche concept and push all your article over there only.. May be initially you will not get good result but after some time you ll see good result for sure. To make a multi niche site you content need to be awesome .. So awesome than only people will follow you ,otherwise they ll go to some niche site..

I'll go with 'trial and error'. If running multiple blogs yields little to no results while a single blog with all niches combined yields better results, by all means why do more when you can do less? But, you would have to test it out to differentiate which works to your favor, and keep forward while minus the non-working.
