I have a question , what is feedburner all about ?

I can see it on many blogs, but dont know about it..
Do there are any earning oppurtunity with feedburner

ya i know that, but i want to know from all you people.
Then why is discussion forums made, if there is google for everything ?

Well.. in simple words, FeedBurner isn't a money making machine for you. It's mainly a RSS feed tool (a website promotion machine). You can use your own ideas and FeedBurner's services and tools to make money. If you don't know about RSS, Google is full of nice articles about RSS.

FeedBurner is a news feed management. FeedBurner provides custom RSS feeds and management tools to bloggers, podcasters, and other web-based content publishers. Services provided to publishers include traffic analysis and an optional advertising system. Though it initially wasn't clear whether advertising was well-suited to the RSS format , it is now used in two-thirds of FeedBurner's feeds. FeedBurner is a typical Web 2.0 service, providing web service APIs to allow other software to interact with it.
