Word Press disabled my account. No SEO, no affiliates

I just got a slap in the face. Word Press just disabled my personal services blog stating that they do not allow SEO content, or affiliate links. Here is the reply:

Hi,
We don't permit sites that have SEO as their main content.
Additionally I saw at least 1 ad and a couple of affiliate links.
I'm sorry but for what you want a blog for we are not the site for you...

It is not for commercial stuff at all.

Yeah, If I would have known I was going to like the thing I would have just built it on our servers. I was just messing around and it started to get good, and then my clients started using it and 10 days later blam, banned.

I guess I was reading the rules for wordpress .org, and not wordpress.com.
Silly me.

Yeah, a lot of people do not understand that there is a huge difference between wordpress.org and wordpress.com. Live and learn, right?

This is interesting. I am curious: was your blog hosted on their servers? And why the censure? You should be allowed to do with your blog whatever you want. I don't get it...

wordpress.com provides free blog hosting for personal blogs. Their tos is very specific concerning this stuff.

They disable my blog also because someone not like it. He comment me bad on my blog and next day it same wat u face.

Good, but why the censure? I still don't get it! eblogger is similar but bloggers can do there whatever they want! I don't think wordpress is so great if they act like despots!

Wordpress is made so people who can't host a blog other places have a place the have a blog. It's really not a big deal. If you're doing SEO content then you're most likely going to have ads, which means you'll be getting money, which means you can host your blog somewhere else.

It's no different from saying you can't have warz or adult content.

If you download the scripts and host the blog somewhere else you can do whatever you want with it. Just not on their servers.

They can say they won't let you have a Boston Red Sox blog if they want to. They're offering free hosting to people they want to give it to. There's nothing wrong with that.

Finally got most of the content, but its not the same.
It doesn't have the same comfort that the other one had. Oh well.

I know someone who got banned from Wordpress too for having an affiliate blog. Tough luck.
