Adsense's banner's links should be the same color as your blog links. Maybe you could incoporate it in your blog? You would make some more.

Overrall, I really like your site: Its really clean and simple. Bravo.

Nice... next you might want to publish a link to your blog feeds and also learn how to get away from the default themes

It takes time, but I think the default themes in blogger are overused already

Personally I don't care about the default themes. I care about a content of a blog. I am way too busy to start analyzing a design. And I bet most blog readers don't care too much about designs either. The simpler a blog, the better. Who cares about fancy graphics when the content sucks?
And, cynovatron, aren't you missing the point of creating blog layouts in the first place? They were made to give any person, including those with 0 web experience - the possibility to have a website or to express themselves online.

Well I haven't been to Australia and if I were to ask for some content it would extensive and step-by-step posts about each place in your "happening"-post http://australia-tourism.blogspot.co...-shouldnt.html

I think its pretty nice.
Most people who surf the net have no idea about default themes.
It really easy to over analyze things when you have a lot of knowlege and experience, but the bottom line is, the average web surfer don't know squat about how the web "really " works.
They just want pretty pictures and content.
I think you have done a great job. Never stop building on content. There is always more to be done.

I have to agree that default themes don't really matter to the general public - who are the type of people who would look up a blog on Australian travel. I think it looks great - very neat and crisp.
