PayPerPost Good/Bad?

I have been a blogger with PPP for many months, and I love it. As for PR, alexa, and technorati, you have to have a pretty good score now to really do any blogging for them. All my blogs are at least a PR3, and I have never had a problem blogging with them or getting paid. Plus I see a lot of my blog links clicked are my PPP links, so I know the advertisers are getting traffic from me.

One thing advertisers may want to consider:
You're less likely to have takers for your ops if you use a lot of professional lingo that everyday bloggers aren't going to understand. I see quite a few ops sit there for months with very few takers because either the blogger doesn't understand what the advertiser is talking about, or the blogger knows the readers aren't going to know what they're talking about.

Word limits are another issue. Advertisers asking for 300 words for $5 don't typically have their ops filled in a timely fashion. Those sit for awhile. Although bloggers who ask for $100 words for $5 normally not only have their ops picked up almost immediately, but most bloggers will definitely give you more than your min word count. It might say 50 or 100 word min but most of us start talking and end up writing 200-300 words.

Oh and those tack ratings do mean something to bloggers. ;-) A lot of advertisers aren't rating the bloggers job performances. Out of over 60 ops, only 5 advertisers have taken the time to give me a tack rating. If you take the time to rate, you're going to get better bloggers in return. You can now specify a specific tack rating requirement on your ops, too.

I have to say that it's alright. I would NEVER buy any links from them, but I do blog for them. I don't get offers from v7n everyday so i have to depend on some type of income, and it comes from PPP. I haven't gotten paid yet because my first post with them isn't thirty days old.

If your in to make some $ off paid post then go for it, if you want to buy paid post go with a more reputable company.

PPP is a very flexible model for advertisers, meaning:

- if you are just interested in links, then set a low PR and pay $5 (plus fees) each
- if you want big time bloggers to write about you (ala Review Me), set a high PR (e.g. PR5) and pay $50 (plus fees)

Can you get a PR5 review on review me for ~$75?

It could be an SEO firm's tool. Knowing how PPP works and being able to craft and advertising opportunity which gets results is valuable. Many first time advertisers get the word min wrong or set the requirements too high/low. But someone with experience could broker their services to craft optimized Opps for their clients.
