PayPerPost Good/Bad?
Anyone have any good experiences buying spots through them? Their forum is full of publishers complaining about not being paid, or accepted which makes me leary as a potential advertiser
No one is talking about the service they received as a buyer. Most of the blogs look to be small PR0 or PR1 blogs, and are blogging only to get paid from PayPerPost.
I've got plenty of cash to throw at bloggers who have real content and a real audience, not just small traffic blogs aiming for a quick payout only.
I'm looking for a blog with a reader base, not only for pure PR. Does anyone know where to find a blogger to pay to post about us? Or are there bloggers here who want the cash?

My experiences with PPP were not so good. Their blogs had no PR (Yes, I did care about PR), no traffic...and low quality to say the least. I believe Review Me has better standards, I haven't tried them however. PPP was an experiment and didn't like it...
Of course I didn't spend tons of money with them but given the quality, I wouldn't even spend any penny with them.
If you want to read my full review of Pay Per Post, it's at my blog
Best,
Ana

How about, get a good product and bloggers will write about your service for free.

Bad.
It's a lazy way to earn income and in my opinion an unethical form of blogging.

u never know who is blogging for u, and end up with PR0 small blogs reviewing ur site...who would pay for it in the first place?
from blogger point of u, they require a disclose badge that makes the blog look...well, not too elegant.
I personally like reviewme.com most

It took me nearly 4 months to finally get approved into their network. I must admit that I have been able to make some good coin with little effort.

I've tried it .. I think PPP takes too big a cut. And yes, you can specify the minimum PR for the blogs writing about your website. The higher the PR, the higher the transaction fee.
SponsoredReviews is pretty alright IMO..

I work with PPP both as a blogger and an advertiser. My success has been great on both sides. The non-payment issues for bloggers is almost always due to a defect on the bloggers side. Such as a script error... it works it's way out though. I collected a months worth of payments in one day from them, then everything started flowing perfect. Besides, I read that even Michael Arrington and the rest of the TechCrunch dudes dig PPP now.

LOL
Honestly I just tired of the self righteous bloggers who keep crying about PayPerPost. Especially the hypocrites... such as exhibit A.

PPP good.
Magizines and newspapers do, charge customers.
I have seen alot of bad reviews about good movies I like and a lot of good reviews on movies that turned out bad.
Which is better? to get paid or not to get paid? that is the question.
Cheers

Being a blogger with them, I have never had a problem getting paid. I have to agree with Dustin that it usually a blogger issue not a PPP issue with not getting paid.
As for low PR blogs, you can specify what PR you want on blogs. If you want only PR3 and higher, you specify that.

I have experience from both sides of the fence. As an advertiser my expectations were met or surpassed in 90% of the posts that were written. As a blogger my experience has been positive also. I have never had a problem with payment.
