I need help with tags

I was wanting to put tags inside each of my post explaining the article what is the proper way to do this

Then check out a three column blogger template project "Blogger-Yolk". Maybe it fulfills your requirements.

with my little knowledge tages make search engines to easily understand the main keywords or main theam behind the article, it makes engine to relate that tag with the article focussing the main idea for given a tag, you can found sometimes the page on the top ranking in search engines with that keyword (it should be focused keyword)

also: be sure to look for what popular tags are and see if they fit your posts. for example: maybe most people are using the tag 'internet' instead of 'web' - so if you've been using 'web' you've been missing out on relevant traffic.
