Wordpress?

How can I start in Wordpress. I have account in wordpress but I dont know to start it. Do I need to download the php file?

Since you've written that you've got an account @ WordPress, I assume that you are talking about WordPress.COM.

If you want to use WordPress @ WordPress.com, you don't need to download any file. If you want to use WordPress @ your own domain, you gotta follow these instructions.

If you know nothing about WordPress, read this lesson.

Go for the WordPress downloaded version and not WordPress.COM, as the free hosting .COM version has several limitations. It does not cost that much to get a good hosting these days anyway.

Besides that, I started a Wordpress.com blog, because I thought it would just be a hobby, and then decided I wanted to get a little more serious about it, and now, I have to re create, and re build all of the links, the pages, re submit to all of the directories, and communicate with all of the contacts, that I have set up on it, basically start from scratch, not to mention make sure that i re direct my readers properly as not to lose any. and there is the whole duplicate content issue of re building, while keeping he other one updated.
It is a pain in the but.
