Do You Truly Enjoy Blogging?

I am wondering if any of you blog simply because you love doing it, rather than for financial or traffic driving reasons?

I absolutely love to blog - I don't do it for money at all.

I'd like to say , I do it for both but blogging is fun and its a creative outlet for me. So I do it out of passion.

I love this one, I hope I can make some money with it, but it keeps me abreast of what's going on in the world.
There is nothing I love more than the subject matter, and the way it brings people together.
Besides I spent many years working in the industry so it's like I'm still in it.

I only work on it after 5 o'clock, (after business hours) and I look forward to working on it everyday, it's like my daily recreation.

Well, my purpose is both.

I enjoy blogging things I like (and basically that is the main reason), and then since blogging can generate some traffic, it is exactly killing 2 birds with one stone.

I love to blog. I have three on the go right now that I maintain regularly, but I can't say that I'm not happy with being paid for my efforts.

I think people like to make money and that is definitely a contributing factor.

You have heard me say it a million times, and probably will hear me say it many times in the future.

I firmly believe that the surest way to success is to find something that you absolutely love doing and then find a way to make money doing it.

If you are writing about topics that you are truly passionate about, things just have a way of working out in your favor. If you are writing about topics just because they may increase your advertising income, you may find yourself disappointed in the results.

If you look at my archives, you will see that I have been blogging for awhile -- and several years beyond what the archives show when I blogged at Xanga and other places like that. Before that, I journaled on paper. So, blogging, in its truest form, has always been a passion of mine since I discovered it online.

Getting paid to blog, is just icing on the cake. If for some reason there was a ruling tomorrow that made paid blogging come to an end, I would still blog.

I started blogging before I ever knew that you could get paid to do it. Getting paid is just an added benefit.
