Old blog is now PR 4!! What is the best course of action?

As some of you know from helping me with coding and such, I moved the content from my free hosted wordpress.com blog, to a self hosted domain.
Well I noticed last week I had a traffic surge of 800+ visits after I moved, and now the old blog is PR 4. (I'm a little pissed)
What is the best course of action to take without violating the wordpress.com TOS for using a blog for SEO puposes?
I would like the traffic on the new blog.

Any help is appreciated.

When the blog is hosted on your domain but is using a free wordpress theme, you can do whatever you want with it: as much SEO as you like. You don't need to move back to wordpress. In time you'll get a good PR to your new domain too. Just work on your linking strategies. PR is not so important. Important is the traffic that converts. If the old blog gets so much traffic, simply redirect it to your new blog.

Nah. The traffic isn't so great I can't get it back in a week or so. It only had 42 posts on it, but a lot of subpages.
All the content is moved now, with redirect links on all the pages.
I just happen to really get serious about developing content right before the last update, so maybe there was a little luck there.
You are right PR means "D***" it's all about traffic.

I suggest that you dont need to moved your blog to wordpress.Your blog has good pr and with high traffic. If you moved it to wordpress, you would start again and it will affect your ranking and traffic as well. As other said you can put the link of your new blog to the old blog or redirect it to your blog.

Well on top of that , I had already started building the new blog, and put it online just before the new Google updates came out, (I mean who would have thunk it would get PR?)
I also started thinking about the duplicated content ruining both blogs in the eyes of the S.E.'s.
So I already moved the content and set up redirects on every page of the old blog.
I'll just start over. The traffic wasn't "Smokin'", maybe 200 a day, but I did top out at 800 one day (On the old blog) 3 days after I launched to new blog.

Just bad timing all the way around for me.
Wordpress will probably deactivate the old blog, once they see it's just a redirect..Oh well.

The new blog is up and running so, that is just a lesson learned .

If you think you may run with it, ALWAYS SELF HOST!

Yeah, but I already set up a dedicated IP.
I didn't know it would get PR...I wasn't actually shooting for it, I was just trying to get some traffic to see if the blog would fly at all.

Now you just watch ..on the next update, I will get no love
Thanks for the tips guys.
