I agree with JasonJ. Why can't we just all get along? There's no need for bashing. The company who has the better service will come out on top regardless.
By the way, why would I take a certain post seriously when its facts are incorrect? There are no Paypal fees deducted from PayPerPost payments.
I've come here and joined coz my Postie friends like it and recommend it. I am also looking forward to be part of v7n.

Can't we all just get along. If v7n is offering a better product, then they will become the leader.

Ahhh, you guys are still yet to get the hang of John.
Thats his style to start or encourage thoughtful conversation.
Its just John

I am axnious to get started with v7n contextual, but today on PayPerPost I got a $43.70 offer on my PR 3 blog for 200 words. The requirements were PR3+, with Technorati<50,000 and Alexa<400,000.

I'm sure you'll get reviewed and get a PM or two today or tomorrow at the latest. (It's Monday morning here.)

I don't even bother to take those opportunities at PPP if they required 300 minimum words for $5.

Hello fellow Posties! Great to see you here.
John, I'm the second highest earner on PPP. I've earned close to $10,000 since the middle of last October. I work hard to make money and I think I write good posts for PPP, V7 and all the paid posting companies that I do work for.
The post you referred to is full on mistakes as was already pointed out.
There's no fees taken off of PPP payments.
The person didn't read the TOS obviously. Bloggers working with PPP must either have site wide disclosure or must declare that a post is sponsored at post level. She or he had three days to correct the error in the post (which was that his/her disclosure was on a single page and not site wide or in the post). That's why their post disappeared. They didn't make the correction.
I didn't check to see what that blogs PR and other ranks were, but even if they were a PR 0 they should have made more than $29 in 6 months! There's always lots of posting opportunities available if you are willing to do them, so he or she could have made at least $15 a day on that blog if he or she was really interested in making money - $15 a day x 6 months is $2,700! I based that on the lowest paid posts which are $5 each but many pay more than that, so that person could have made even more money than that with with a bit of work. (or have done fewer posts and still made good money) It's not that hard.
As far as support goes. Yes PPP's support could be better, but you know what? Compared to other paid blogging sites it has a ton of support. With Loudlaunch it's hard to get a reply ( I get them but a lot of people seem to have trouble), and many of the others don't answer their email at all.
I think I work with all the paid blogging companies. Of all of them PPP and V7 are the best support wise. Now, I haven't needed much support here on V7, but when I have your people have been FANTASTIC! Thank you! Both PPP and V7 have forums and that goes a long way towards feeling like a community and feeling like you have some support.
I don't think this should be a competition. I believe the bloggers that have responded to this post are like me- they work for several paid blogging companies. Some are better than others - but you can make some money with all of them.
I do enjoy working with V7. The work is super easy and the pay is good. Thank you!

Hey, Tricia! Ooh, I would love to work with v7n, too! I love the forums - they are awesome! And seeing some people here that I've known around the net for a while now is really cool!
I didn't realize their adver's didn't want free blogs, though - so my first one I submitted was my blogger blog. And then I read about people hassling them ('when am I gonna hear from you? huh? huh?') ....so I just waited and waited...LOL And then I saw John post about the free blogs.
So today I submitted one of my self-hosted blogs - I hope it makes the cut! This place rocks!
I just bought three more domains the other day, too - I'm so excited - maybe once I get them up and going, I can put one or two of them in, as well!
Why on earth am I telling you all of this here? I don't know - the last few days I've been on a ramble-fest...it's like some weird, sick disease ...I just can't stop! Emails, blog posts, forum posts....
Well, I guess it saves my husband having to listen to it all! HA!
And I get to connect with all of you - now isn't that special?
Hey - I can be the Church Lady of the New Millenium!!

Hey Lisa! Good to see you here too.
Ramblings fine. You're excited about your new own domain blogs and the possibility of doing some work for V7. You'll enjoy working with V7.
I believe that blogs accepted into V7 have to be at least pr3 ... I hope the own domain blog you added recently is at least that.
Hi John! I've been here for about two months now. I enjoy the forums and of course appreciate the work from V7 as well. Thanks!

V7N has been awesome. I prefer direct sponsors for reviews than going through mediators like PPP.

I've just signed up with PayPerPost. But it's more to evaluate their program, and to have something to write about on my blog (some more content)
Not too many assignments from v7n yet though. I guess you guys are busy with the dashboard.

I know - bummer, I haven't gotten any from v7n.
I am, however, excitedly full of hope that that means that they are fixing things up AWESOME and when I do get offers, it's going to be GREAT!!!
*crosses fingers*
