Believe me, there are more people talking about how long the line was at the bank today, and their 3 year old taking a poop, than any other kind of blog.
Blogs give a voice to every wanna be comedienne, and political analyst who would normally be booed off the stage. *Yawn*
Very few people are actually entertaining. I think it comes off better if you just talk normally without all the cutesy stuff, unless it's just another "Cutesy" blog.
Sorry I dozed off just thinking about it.
Lastly, I have seen many different sources that say if you take the sheer numbers of blogs, and divide them by the number of people that read blogs, it comes out to the average blog gets 1 reader a day.
I'm sure that doesn't take into account all of the "Good ideas" that have been left unattended, or people that just lost interest, but still remain out there, sucking up bandwidth.
I always wondered, how many free hosted blogs are registered out there, yet haven't been updated in months?
There should be a filter that will alert you, "Hey..you started this blog in Jan. 2006, and haven't been back. Either do something with it, or it will be deactivated in 7 days".
