How to make money blogging.

Either I never posted to this thread or my post to this thread was possibly deleted. My link was highly relevant.. the article was a list of the paid blogging services. No affiliate links were included on it. There's even a link to V7N and I'm pretty sure I sent many visitors to V7N already.

Forum rules do not allow linking to your own site. If you truly want to share the information, it should be posted here, rather than linking to your own site.

I found this post to be pretty informative and diverse with what's out there.

I do want to share the information with forum members but the post is too large to be posted online. It's just ridiculous to be called out as a spammer when the article linked is relevant and legitimate.

We remove the links as fast as we can when we realize they are linked to their own sites, but we are only human, we miss some, which is why there is a report button on every post so that members help us find the ones we miss.

I am certainly sorry you are unhappy with the forum rules, but our job as moderators is to remove those links when we come across them.

I assume you are referring to these forum rules?

That was new to me and I've only just come across them.. that's fine with me, if this is the way V7N operates.

Just a little strange that those links were left up there for so long while my entire post was deleted soon after I made it. I think deleting my entire post (the first time round) without letting me know the reason behind it was a little rude. A simple private message or infraction notice would have honestly sufficed.

Maybe something to take in mind the next time.

In terms of removing your link in this thread, I did send you a gentle reminder, and I also gave you a warning instead of an infraction. I even thanked you for understanding.

Just one last word to set the record straight before I move this to private messaging. This is important because you seem to have misunderstood the situation here.

I'm not referring to the link you removed today. I posted to this thread some time ago, before today.. which is the reason why I'm auto subscribed to it.

I received a new notification because someone posted to the thread today and I came over to check it out.

I noticed that my earlier post was completely removed. I checked my inbox and didn't find any private messages nor any infractions. No explanations or anything. That's the reason why I posted my response today.

This is what I think is a little rude. Not your actions today, which are perfectly fine with me.

kagemusha: The rules of v7n are clearly posted at the top of every forum and subforum. The v7n moderators do their best to help enforce these rules, but are always thankful for members to report spammy or questionable posts using the Report Post feature.

Not all posts are merely edited - some posts are removed without indication due to a couple of factors:
- they are deemed "insalvagable" due to their spam content.
- there are hundreds of new posts in v7n daily, dozens of them are removed for various reasons. Practicality does not call for a private message for each individual case, particularly if the post blatantly defies the rules.

If you have an issue with these rules, then perhaps v7n isn't the place for you.
