Pay Per Post
Does anyone use pay per post? Have you had success with it? Share your stories. I came across the site today and am very interested.

I've been using PayPerPost for about eight months now and I do like it. However, if you don't have a PR rank of 5 or above you won't be able to take the high-paying opportunities. I've only averaged about $50 a month, but then I'm pretty picky about the opportunities I take. You can definitely make much more than that if you stay on top of their listings. They get taken up pretty quickly. Sometimes PPP will throw in a $1,000 post which is open to everybody just for the heck of it, so you never know!
I've seen bloggers take opportunities promoting companies and products that aren't even related to their blog. Why blog about mortgages if your blog is focused on dog food? That's just my opinion though.
Word of advice: Don't turn your blog into one big ad!

I have used it in the past but there are fewer and fewer opportunities nowadays because the advertisers are able to choose which blogging platform, Alexa ranking, PR, Technorati ranking etc. That's the way it should be, the the abrupt way these rules were introduced meant that I went from having 20 opportunities one day to maybe 1 or 2 the next. They can also insist on a positive review which is a bit cheeky because none of the other proper paid posting services do that.

Currently I started a 18+ blogging website I currently make about $1.00 a day average. The site been up for about 9 days, and I have about $5.00 so far! Also get about 1-5 clicks a day.

I have been with PayPerPost since May. They owe me about $250 right now and definitely pay after a month practically to the minute. Yes, the opps have gone down. My blog is PR3 at the moment and that does hurt because it requires a PR5-6 to get the big paying opps. It's still okay as long as you do not bank on them to be your only paying site.

Agreed, PPP offers only crumbs if your Page Rank is below 5. And if your blog is ranked at 5+ you are probably able to make enough from your organic search traffic so that paid posting is not essential

How can a pay per post guarentee results. There was one company that you pad $50 for 10 posts. However, you did not have control over what the wrote. They could write almost anything they wanted so long as they mentioned your site 3 times in the posting.
I ran into a few companies like this at a trade show in NY, I dont know if its worth it sounds kind of high priced for something I could do on my own.
Maybe if the company is cheap enough. lol

I agree there. It can be crumbs. The pay for under PR5 seems to be around the $5 mark most of the time. I do have opps for $15 and under but mostly they're already taken and it's a fight to get them. But occasionally I get a $20 opp. The bigger opps don't go to anything under PR5 from what I can see. Sad.

I think there is a company called Blogsvertise
You can check them out here:
http://www.blogsvertise.com/
I met some of them at a show once, I think they maybe a little expensise but they seemed to be a reliable source.
But I never used them. Maybe get some opinions?

I've been with PPP for exactly one month now and at the end of 30 days, I've done $460. Like everyone else has said, the opps are difficult to come by and if you want them, you've got to stay up on top of the game but if you're willing to invest a little time and effort, it can pay off.

All but reviewme. I'm signed up there but haven't done anything about it.
Bloggerwave seems to have two opps so far but when you do them, they pay the next day. All are $10 opps. Any number of blogs signed up.
Blogitive is all right but has only a few opps. All pay $5 after a month.
Loudlaunch is strange. It has opps from time to time but they seem to run out of money really fast. When they do and you have taken the opp, it tells you that it would have paid you if only you had done it faster. They want the opp done within two hours. Pays $7.50 after a month or so. Not really sure about that one. I've only been paid once from them.
That's about all I know about those.

In Reviewme, you can take limited opportunities for a month. If your reviews are good and get high reputation, your number of opportunities will be increased from 10 to 20, 30 etc. They check grammatical and language errors minutely and so be careful. Bloggerwave seems to be inactive as they have only two reviews as far as I know. So, I stop using it. Blogitive always comes for $5 and so is not so appealing. And for Loudlaunch, I haven't used yet.

My little storie: I've been with PPP for a while, and as one user said not to turn your blog into one big ad.. I agree with you 100%, but also remember that all ads regardless of the form will once in a while be irrelevant. If i were you, and you decide to take up PPP I suggest you write a sponsored post every once in a while, and not on a daily basis, that way your readers won't be looking at paid content the entire time.
