It's against the Blogger TOS to do so:
http://www.blogger.com/terms.g
Quote:
|
7. No Resale of the Service. Unless expressly authorised in writing by Google, you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes (a) any portion of the Service, (b) use of the Service or (c) access to the Service.
|
However, they would be unlikely to find out if you did so. It might cause you problems if you were selling a single blog from an account with many.

If you had several blogs on the same account login you would need to sell them together, or close the others down since you would not be able to move the individual blog to a different acc without drawing attention to yourself.

Selling is possible if that happens quietly. But you need to give up all other sites in the same account as selling of only one is practically impossible.

I've already sold one not working blogger blog at $6 to some one in DP...terms say that you won't resale service..i mean u can't have a service like create our page in this blog for $$...but can't we transfer our blog.
You can transfer the blog u like to google or blogger account of some one else who buys it.In this way you keep the username and password and your google account intact.
Or create another blogger acc. with a new google account and transfer the blog from your account to this new account..sell this new account. Transfering can be done by adding another user(who would buy) to your blog
make him admin and after that ask him to remove u from the users list. Or add your new account as contributor make it admin. Login to new account and then remove your old acc from list of users n sell this new acc.(don't delete acc. but remove from users list or contributors list)

It's possible but not sure it's a good idea since it violates the TOS.

Yes possible! You can sell your whole blogger account. And I don't think Google will really care about this.

i think what you can sell is ur "site" not the "blogger" they were right, you can sell your "site name" if people are interested to own it ... $$$

I wouldn't chance getting caught for a TOS Violation, you will end up paying WAY more than what you sold it for.
It's funny how people try to sell what they don't own.... If the content of the blog is yours & copyrighted under your name, then sell the content as an original Article..... However trying to sell a Blog service (Against TOS Policy) would be just like me trying to sell a Lexus to someone else (Without notifying the Lexus dealer) That I have on a 2 year lease & must return after the lease is over.
As you can see, it can be construed as a SERIOUS offense. Granted a Blog account & a Lexus are in 2 different ball parks as far as $$$$, The concept is the same though.
You Basically lease a Blog (Just like a car) to use, when you are done with it, it goes back to the Company you leased it from.
In Conclusion:
To avoid any future heart aches & I told you so's, just don't do it... There are millions of other products / services you can sell legally. Good luck!

Though it is against the TOS, it's still possible...
You may hide it, but I think google will still know about it!

I don't think their TOS will allow you to do that however people are doing that like selling myspace account with friends.

Wow. I used to own a blogspot blog and sold it years back. This was when I was younger and didn't read the TOS .
You are pretty much selling your password but if it's agains the TOS I would probably advise against it.
Though if it is done quietly I don't see how they can catch you.

IMO, You can sell blogs together with the account. AFAIK you cannot transfer a blog to another account. I try it before, I used to transfer my other blog to another account but I ended up to nothing. (I'm not selling blog)
