Hi

I am new to blogging. I started with blogger.com. Is there a better blogging site out there for increasing traffic for a business? Just cause Blogger.com is most widely known doesnt mean they are the best for promoting a business.

Any suggestions?

If you made your blog for business, purpose then tries to promote it. You can promote your blog same as site promotion. It will increase traffic on your blog. You can also make blog on your site. If you made your on blogger.com or wordpress.com then you have to promote your blog.

It doesn't really matter what blogging site will you going to use in order for you to increase traffic.. What matters is that on how will you going to promote it in order for you to get the ideal traffic.. But for me, if you'll going to do a business site, why don't you just buy a domain? and it shows here http://www.v7n.com/forums/blogging-f...and-alone.html that having a domain name are the one who stand out from all other blog site..

Thanks for all the replies. I have thought about get a domain name and believe that is what I am going to do. It looks much more professional and from what I understand the SEO will do better as well.

I've heard of quite a few internet marketers blogging on sites such as Apsense and Squiddo. These two sites are specifically built so you can blog while advertising your business and or products. They also have built in social networks. I don't use either service but from what I have seen, quite a few internet marketers do.
