Stumbleupon traffic
I've had several Stumbleupon traffic. How do we determine they are of quality or not?

I think Stumbleupon traffic and digg traffic are both the same. they both provide a good boost but I don't think it's what you would call quality traffic. As soon as they come to your site and see what their is to see, they leave. Most of the time, this type of traffic doesn't even click on anything.
Think of digg and stumbleupon traffic as brand recognition. When these people visit your site, they should see a logo or unique design that sets your site apart from others so that perhaps, they just might come back.
It also helps to get on stumbleupon repeatedly as repetition is a big factor for return visits.

This is right, they are just visit your site and then leave even without reading for your post.

Stumbleupon traffic is nice, but BlogRush traffic may be better. You all have probably heard all about it so I'll spare you the details, but the traffic I have been getting is active traffic.
Viewers are very active with some nice thought out comments. Very pleased with it so far.

stumbleupon account needs to be optimized for getting traffic...it's betetr than digg traffic but such traffic don't click ads as they have to read quickly and stumble next site they have....quality is only determined by search engine traffic...and more earnings is not an indication of quality...

In my opinion StumbleUpon traffic is about as effective as traffic from Traffic exchanges like TrafficPods and TS25.
The majority of visitors simply click onto the next site.

SU can really boost your traffic.. But for some instances, surfer just go and then leave your SU blog maybe because they cannot find really interesting to it..
Like what Jeffro2pt0 said,

|
So better provide some interesting stuff like images or videos for you to have a quality traffic from SU..

You can get traffic from stumbleupon through your blog content or through your site. You need to invite users to stumble your site and by this you can get traffic fro your site.

Right! SU traffic only have their mouse on "stumble" button. Though you can still earn from CPM programs like offered by casalemedia.com
