Thumbs down Movable type? Anyone using it got some tips maybe?

Movable type just released 4.0 two days ago, this is their first full free release. From reading around the blogsphere it seems as if MT is the red headed step child of blogging. I've seen a couple of bloggers who don't even use it bash it just for fun.

Does anyone run MT? How does it compare to WP?

I'm thinking of running it for a new blog I'll be starting in the next week or so. I love WP but I'm open to trying something new if it's worth it.

TIA,
Dan

I don't use it, but I have seen a number of reviews of it, including an interview with Anil Dash and quite a few people think this version of MT has either caught up to WordPress or perhaps has gone slightly passed it. From what I could tell, I would at least look into Movable Type if I were going to start over from scratch

I've used MT before. I liked it - very similar to WP from what I can remember, but it's been YEARS.
