preview post - main page

I want to use evermore for my preview post on my main page, but it will not display all of the post within an rss feed. I was wondering if there is a plugin that does this, I see there are alot at wordpress.org - but I do not want to test every single one

I want to know if anyone else tried a plugin that shows X amount of words on the main page but shows the whole article when read from an RSS feed.

I use the FeedBurner FeedSmith plugin to handle my WordPress RSS feed. It hooks into my Feedburner account. I can then, use Feedburner to manage the settings and display for my Feed. I can choose whether to allow headline, summaries, or the full posts. Generally. I allow for the full posts because most RSS readers give users the choice between which three they want to view the feed in.

thanks! I have feedsmith - but I do not think it will adjust my feedburner feeds, even tho I have adjusted feedburner to show full text - the evermore pluging cuts my post so it will adjust my main page to show only X amount of paragraphs, but it will do the same within my feedburner feeds

still cant find a plugin for it

ahh I found a plugin that stops the <!-more-> thing on wordpress since i have the newer one - now it works thanks!

What's it called? You know someone might search for an answer to this question or search this problem on Google and the last thing we want is for them to come to this page only to find out you solved the problem without listing the solution lol. Happens to me all the time when Google gives me forum threads as search results.
