Erm, just because they don't endorse or encourage it doesn't mean they are against it. I don't endorse or encourage parachute jumping, but I'm not against it.

Adsensense has become for webmasters like what Windows has been for PC users. No surprise as some webmasters are making good money with adsense.
My advice, is the same as can be found on Google's website. Design your site for your customers and not for Googlebot or Adsense.
Ask yourself this question. If your account gets banned and there is no response from Google, how far would you go to get it back?

exactly, Google doesn't care one way or another. They are scared to get sued by publishers again, so their answers are and will remain vague.

Its all about the money...they don't want competition. It takes away from the number of people that are force to click on adsense ads. Well, I guess Google has a point if you are going to redirect might as well make money. Does BlogRush pay? I don't think so correct.....but it does help traffic I think....

ya i agree adsense it is "going away from site" kind of money. so if you got other attractive competition you might lose some of the potential income.

Some people say it's against theri TOS, some say the opposite... I cant see what the problem is, as long as the visitors that will click on the ads will be real, and interested in that...

I wouldn't see a problem with using Adsense and blogrush. Blogrush is rather new isn't it. I read about it on Shoemoney's blog about a month ago.
