Do you think that blogging is a good way to promote other businesses? I think that in today's market you should be able to get quality links for a reasonable price.

As far as other businesses are concerned .. I'll say ..yes ..you can promote it ..but writing reviews on your blog can make your blog week!! ..blog is to share views not to advertize..no?

Yep, I agree that, even if you go for review, it should be original mixed up with both positive and negative review.

From a blogger's point of view, I think its ok so long as the review is subjective, like a press release and you don't bluff by endorsing a product or service you've never used or heard of before.

Are you talking about other businesses that you may own or have an interest in? If so, I don't think this is a problem but I would be upfront and honest about from the get go.

I just try to put myself in my viewers seat.. would they enjoy visiting my page/blog? If I don't even think it's useful or beneficial myself.. why would I think anyone else is going to care? This goes for.. anything..

Yes.. I can't wait to get started trying that out. I mean more links can't really hurt.. unless you go about it really poorly.

Reviews, new, opinions and writeup's are all good for promotion & blogs are great for all those things ... so yes blogging is a good way to promote business

There are tons of companies that you can hire to have bloggers write posts about your product, service, or website. Some can charge a lot per post.

I dont know if anyone has had success with this, but you can always write your own blogs for free on your own.

I think blogging is an effective way in promoting business coz through blogging you can build key relationships, and at the same time plugging your product, service, or business.

I use my blogs as funnels, where I can get a broad scope of essentially 'free' traffic from search engines and then channel them into my stores. For me, blogs are much easier to nail long tail keywords and bring in the scragglers that might otherwise have slipped away.

-!BAM!- that's when I got them and they WILL be buying something out of my stores. Works the same way with any business you are trying to push.

Blogging is really an effective way of promoting a business. By writing quality reviews and articles on the blog, this will really help to easily convince your customers about the services you are offering.
