Starting a new blog?
I've read that blogs are seen better by search engines, because of their continuous update.
We've tried this thing before but we've got little results.
We want to create a new blog. My main interest is to bring traffic for cratima website and new business for the company.
Before we'll decide to transform this thought into reality I have some questions.
1. Should we put the blog on Cratima 's domain name, on should I make a blog on blogspot, myspace...etc.
2. Regarding the content. We want the blog to be about new internet solution that can help new businesses. a) We can search the web, find out news, filtered them and then put the most interesting in our blog. b) We can add value to different news on the net, value from our knowledge and business.
c) Use both articles with added value and some funny stories related to the businesses.
3. How many blog administrators are necessary to make it interesting (with quality and enough information)
Thanks!

A word of warning, you cannot ignore other elements of SEO just because you are updating frequently. Having a frequently updated blog is just one tool in the SEO arsenal that will potentially bring you traffic.
That being said, here are my recommendations.
1.) On your own domain. Mainly because you have a lot more flexibility, no regulations on space, and you get to choose what kind of software you want.
2.) Adding value is the 'BEST' way to do a blog, IMHO. This is not true if you have the time to physically travel the world, interview, research, etc news on your own. Sounds like you don't so adding value from experience, etc to existing news stories is the best route.
3.) Only one good one. Really depends on the writing style and quality.
Good luck.

I'd use a subdomain of the main site .... blog.cratima.com ... or similar
For the type of blog I think you're thinking of make sure that the content doesn't come across as spammy, if you're just reproducing news or making comment about things on the 'net ensure that it sounds personal and contains your opinions.
Keep authors to a minimum and ensure that each comes across as an individual with different and specific interests.

1. Yes, definitely add it to your domain. There's no point doing a blogspot solution, and it could be terrible on something like myspace.
2. Content is very much king with blogging. The best way is once a week write a useful tip on how to do something. I did with a post ages ago, and it got me a hell of a lot of visitors, even to this day.
3. Really, you can go with one to begin with. If you're struggling, go with 2, until you're comfortable.

1. Same as everyone else ^^ Linking to your main site can only benefit
2. People these days are looking for things that nobody could have ever given them. If you give help, you get something back. If you have active bloggers who really enjoy the topic, might as well move into a more active posting schedule, like 4-5 posts a week instead of the previously mentioned 1 post a week.
3. It's possible to start with 1, although that 1 person could have booked schedule because of the blog. If you want a really networked and easy-posting thing going on, a team of 3-5 could do wonders.

You probably need to invest few hundred dollars more to have professional looking blog. Blog is good for website - from my own experience it tends to generate more traffic than my website - twice more actually.

use a personal domain and have a blog under its name but like xxx.com/blog and not blog.xxx.com as it will give more back links to ur home page and getting popularity for one the INNER pages is the best thing you can do for SEO and getting higher SERPS.
One more thing the home page should have important niche links, and of courseRSS feeded of atleast last 3/4 posts from your blog as i give the latest from all over the site on the home page.
I have been using the same techinque and getting a lot of good traffic (500+page views)

Brother my advice is to use blogspot with your domain name.
Have you ever noticed! while doing search on google that
there are almost one or two blogspot blogs on the first 5
pages of google..
Google loves blogspot because its there own service!
But try to use classical templates in blogspot
to give professional look to your blog..
You should have quality unqiue contents
updated regularly and doing ping at
the same time.. use pingoat.com
to ping blog.
with in few months you will see your
blog start getting traffic from search engines..
Must use article marketing (bum marketing)
to get backlinks for your blog..
Hope helpful
Regards
Mudassar Anwar

Well.......I think it will be better to put the blog on your domain's name in this way you can add fresh content to your site frequently through blog posts and that helps to attract googlebot
You can do search for related content on the web to get information and then you can post it to your blog in your own words to avoid duplicacy but if you find something really helpgful to its users then post it on your blog but do not forget to add a source for that content where you have find it.
And no of administrator is not matter to make blog intersting and good quality it depends on how you can manage it.

Hello if you know nothing it's better to use a platform like Hubpages which does the optimisation for you. For example young maddie makes 400$ per month from adsense whereas she made nothing from Blogger read her comments at the end of this hubpage:
http://hubpages.com/_hubpagesblog/hu...ngs-day-by-day
I understand that adsense is not your primary goal but it proves the efficiency of this blog platform.
