SPAM Comments
Is there an addon for Wordpress to stop this annoying comments??

I receive hundreds and hundreds of spam comments every single day.

There are two plugin for wordpress, the Akismet and the Hello Today.. try to used them to moderate your comments.. activate it..

Akismet works great!

In fact, I upgraded my blog the other night and in the 15-20 mins that I had that plugin deactivated 13 spam comments got through before I was finished.

I believe that Akismet is a gift from the Gods!

Can you moderate them? Maybe it is better to moderate them? Because with spam comments you can delete interesting ones.

Yup, they get stored in a queue for review, then you can de-spam anything that isn't spam.

Yeah Akismet is probably your best bet if your blogs not too big (or else you have to pay I think)

Also make sure you have a CAPTCHA thing installed to try and limit the amount of bots that can get through.

Another way to ward off Spam Bots is by using Captcha verification

But to actually prevent spam comments by human visitors, I suggest that you moderate all the comments.

i've read that Akismet is a great tool in moderating SPAM comments though i haven't use it in my blog.
