Just Starting a Blog

Hi every one,
I am very green in this field of blogging ,infarct i still want to start blogging about the affiliate program i am in .Any advice will be highly appreciated.

What blogging program are you going to be using? Wordpress?

If you are going to start blogging, I recommend writing 2 or 3 articles first, then post them up. Some of the major blog sites like Engadget, autoblogger etc, started with 100s of pre-written articles and put them on their website at the day of start up.

It's good to do this, so that when people come to your website looking to read one of your articles, they will have other reasons to stay and see what you have. It also increases the chances of people subscribing via RSS, because you are showing some more content of what is to come from you.

Most visitors will not subscribe to a blog with 5 post and under, this is a result of so many blogs that come and go.

I have some more advice if you are interested, but it helps to know what blogging software you will be using.

I really want to thank you for that tip you drooped above.to be honest it was an eye opener in the sense that it was a good way to start a blog while advertising the blog at the same time i did not know that .I will love to learn more from you but since you have already given me an assignment which is to write an article i guess i should start with my research on that and later i will come for more there is just too much to do and little time.Thanks again.
