embed the blog or entire site as blog?

i'm changing an old static html site over to a podcast, using WP as a base.

i'm not sure whether to set it up as a blog with links to static pages (about us, contact, etc.) or to set up a static site with the blog embedded (i think that's the right way to describe it).

what are the pros and cons of having an index.html for a homepage as opposed to a feed page?

you can do this with wordpress easily.

Either set it up so that your Index Page appears as the homepage, and the blog is another side portion.

Though personally, I enjoy websites with blogs, and static pages added, such as my own www.wppotential.com
