Before to start a blog, I want want to know some things:

1- Once i have posted an article, will it be possible to edit this text after a while?

2- Is it possible to post adds on my blog?

To get traffic on a blog, will I need to put as much energy on promotion as we have to do with a stand alone website?

Yes, you still need to promote your blog time to time in SEO, SERP or SMO
