Looking for PHP trainer/teacher

Hi,

I just started with learning PHP 1 week ago and I would like to find a teacher. If you are interested please PM me and tell me what is your rate per hour and also how much experiences do you have or which sites you have done.

Thank you
Ernest

why not buying some books to get you started and then just go practicing? Also, W3C schools are always a good place to start for beginners

I am already doing that way. But it would be much faster if I had for each problem I face somebody who I could ask him/her.

I'd like that too. But until I'll have enough money to afford paying someone I guess I'll stick to just reading and practicing... life sucks...

If you have some specific questions about php, why don't you post them here?

I am sure someone will give you a quick answer, as php is used (successfully) by a lot of people.

I am also new to PHP and have bought some books to help learn it, but why waste the money when there are plenty of people here that are more than willing to help. Anytime I have had a problem, its been solved by getting some help here. Most people here are very nice and helpful.

Try Sam's Teach Your Self PHP - it's fantastic. Just sit down and read it during some time you plan out each day. Also http://www.zend.com/en/ offers PHP classes.

Or, the best way to do it: download some simple scripts from http://www.hotscripts.com and tear them down piece by piece and mess around with it and see if you can come up with something.

Easy way to learn something is to apply it. If you know HTML, simple PHP scripts should be a breeze.
